The 4 rating criteria

Each review breaks down the experience on 5 points — not a single overall star. The score on a product page is the average of these criteria, recalculated with every new review.

Efficacy

Does the product do its job? Felt hydration, soothing, barrier repair… depending on category.

Texture

Application comfort: greasy, sticky, matte or glowy finish, ease to spread and layer.

Hydration

Does skin feel tight during the day? Lasting comfort, not just at application.

Tolerance

Redness, stinging, reactions — central for sensitive and reactive skin.

Where data comes from

• Reviews — published by registered members, one review per person and product. Skin type and usage duration required.
• INCI — ingredient lists from Open Beauty Facts (ODbL), completed and verified.
• Photos — catalogue enriched automatically; manual moderation of questionable images.
